condition: the expected number of girls and women with
Rett syndrome should be around 243 to 534, but only 59
girls and women with the syndrome are registered
nationwide (Laboratory for the Study of Mitochondrial

What’s new
In November, we organized an afternoon of art for
parents and children in order to make candles and
presents. Rosalina the goat is expecting kids. We will
gladly accept old bread, best if cut into pieces. We
will also accept raw cabbage, apples, and carrots. We
were visited by students and trainees from various
Prague schools who enrich our program while learning
about us. Amu from Spain is staying with us on an
internship, and is getting along great with Thea and
Filip. Some parents are urgently looking for someone to
help watch their children at home – it doesn’t have to
be a professional assistant. If you know about someone
who would like this kind of job, please let us know; we
will be glad to provide you with further information.
Last week, we thoroughly cleaned the pool, so now we can
go swimming again. The advent season is starting; soon
it will be Christmas.
